Terms and conditions
Who can sell their claim:
You must be 18 years or older to sell your claim to us.
How to sell your claim:
You agree to provide all necessary documents that we require in order to purchase your claim.
If we need further information, we will contact you to request it. We need this information to proceed with the purchase of your claim.
Payment for your claim:
We pay different amounts depending on the value of the claim:

For claims worth 250 EUR, we pay you 200 EUR.

For claims worth 400 EUR, we pay you 320 EUR.

For claims worth 600 EUR, we pay you 480 EUR.
Claimant’s responsibilities:
You must provide accurate information about your claim.
You must not have any open cases regarding this claim; otherwise, the purchase will be cancelled.
The customer agrees to immediately inform the company if they receive any payments from the airline concerning the case that the customer has entrusted the company to handle. The customer also agrees not to assign the claim to a third party or attempt to collect it themselves after entrusting the company with the case.
The customer shall do everything within their power to assist the company in collecting the compensation. The customer agrees to truthfully disclose all details relevant to the claim and to provide any documents and data (e.g., tickets, passport information, etc.) that are reasonably and justifiably required to ensure successful collection of the claim. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the documents they provide are accurate and truthful.
Communication between the company and the customer shall be conducted via the email address provided by the customer during the application process. The customer agrees to respond promptly to emails from the company and to respect the deadlines stated in those emails, such as in connection with submitting written authorizations. If the customer does not respond within the specified timeframe, the company reserves the right to consider the purchase agreement as cancelled.
The customer declares that they are legally competent and authorized to enter into this agreement with the company. The customer shall only apply for compensation on behalf of a third party if they have full legal authorization to do so. A customer applying for compensation on behalf of a third party declares that they take responsibility for any costs. Guardians of minors who apply for compensation on behalf of their children are personally responsible for the actions they assign to the company.
The customer shall provide the company with bank account details where the agreed purchase amount can be deposited, if compensation is successfully collected.
Further information:
We may request additional information from the customer if necessary.
We may cancel the purchase of your claim if it is deemed ineligible for compensation or if the airline does not pay.
Cancelling the agreement:
The claimant has the right to cancel the agreement before the claim is submitted to the airline.
Payment terms:
FlugHjálp will pay the agreed purchase price only after we have received payment from the airline, not before.
